The Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation Japan (SMRJ) opened
“Keio Fujisawa Innovation Village”(SFC-IV) at Keio University Shonan-Fujisawa Campus(SFC) area in March, 2006.
SMRJ has been cooperating with Keio University, Kanagawa Prefecture, and Fujisawa-city in this project.
SFC-IV is a business incubation facility for the region to support new business start-ups and entrepreneurs.
●Best location for close collaboration with Keio University
SFC-IV is located just next to Keio University Shonan-Fujisawa Campus across the street. SFC-IV is very convenient
for local entrepreneurs as well as students and researchers of Keio University. SFC-IV provides a place
and opportunities for new business creation activities based upon University business seeds or joint research/development
results between the University and the private sector.
●Full support for new businesses
Three Incubation managers are resident to provide full rage of business supports for tenant entrepreneurs.
The supports include the following:

●Network Environment
SFC-IV is located in the optical fiber network service area. Each tenant can set up high speed network via optical fiber
and subscribe ISP service based on its business needs. One information outlet is equipped in each shared office.
Two information outlets are equipped in each office/small office/workshop office. Related fee is charged to a tenant.
Also, connectivity to SFC-CNS（SFC Campus Network System) network may be permitted when the collaboration with Keio University requires it.
(The use of the network is restricted to scientific research purpose only.)
